Who we are

Transfolio.io is a transformation intelligence platform operated from Sweden. If you have any questions about this policy or how we handle your data, you can reach us at hello@transfolio.io.

What information we collect

We collect information in two ways — what you give us directly, and what we collect automatically when you use the platform.

What you give us directly:

• Your name and work email address when you request a demo or create an account
• Your organisation name and job title
• The programme and portfolio data you enter into the platform
• Any messages you send us via our contact form or email

What we collect automatically:

• Basic usage data — which pages you visit and how you navigate the platform
• Your browser type and device information
• Your IP address

How we use it

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and run the Transfolio platform
• Set up and manage your account
• Respond to your demo requests and support queries
• Send you updates about the platform when relevant — you can opt out at any time
• Improve the platform based on how it's being used

We do not use your data for advertising. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your programme or portfolio data for anything other than running the platform for you.

Who we share it with

We share your data only with the services we need to run the platform. These currently include:

• Supabase — our database and authentication provider. Your data is stored securely in their infrastructure.
• Anthropic — we use the Claude API to power AI features. Queries are processed server-side and are not used to train Anthropic's models.
• Email service providers — for transactional emails such as invitations and notifications.

We do not share your data with any other third parties without your explicit consent, unless required to do so by law.

Data security

Your data is stored in a dedicated tenant — your organisation's data is never mixed with another organisation's. Access within the platform is enforced by role — each user sees only what they are authorised to see.

We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication, and row-level security at the database layer.

How long we keep your data

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account or ask us to delete your data, we will do so within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or accounting reasons.

Your rights

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct anything that's inaccurate, and ask us to delete it. You can also ask us to stop using your data for marketing communications at any time.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep you logged in and to understand how the platform is being used. We do not use advertising cookies or share cookie data with third parties for marketing purposes.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some parts of the platform may not work correctly if you do.

Changes to this policy

If we make significant changes to this policy we'll let you know by email or by a notice on the platform. The date at the top of this page always reflects when it was last updated.
